왜 HebronGuide인가? Why HebronGuide?
25년간 이민자 교회를 섬긴 목사의 질문에서 시작됐습니다.
It started with a simple question from a pastor who spent 25 years serving immigrant communities.
"왜 새로 도착한 사람들은 가장 중요한 첫 몇 달을 홀로 헤매야 할까?" "Why do people arriving in a new city spend their most critical first months navigating entirely alone?"
정보의 부재, 신뢰할 곳 없는 낯선 도시, 아는 사람 하나 없는 밤—그 간격을 좁히고 싶었습니다.
The lack of reliable information, nowhere trustworthy to turn, evenings without a familiar face — we built HebronGuide to close that gap.
Hebron(헤브론)은 히브리어로 연합·교제·동반자를 뜻합니다. 그 이름처럼, 누구도 처음을 혼자 시작하지 않도록.
Hebron (הֶבְרוֹן) means fellowship, partnership, and belonging in Hebrew. No one should have to begin alone.
나침반 모양의 사방(四方) 별은 "눈을 들어 동서남북을 바라보라"는 말씀에서 왔습니다. 어느 방향으로 흩어졌든, 그곳에 이미 연결의 손이 뻗어 있다는 선언입니다. 금색 북방 포인트가 첫 방향을 가리키고, 중심의 흰 점이 모든 방향이 만나는 곳—헤브론을 상징합니다.
The four-pointed compass star is a declaration: wherever you've scattered — north, south, east, or west — a connection already reaches there. The gold north-point marks the first direction; the white center dot where all directions meet is Hebron itself.
